Snow!

This is my first post, on my first blog. I could say “Hello World” or try to think up something witty. But I won’t, because I am too tired. You see- my home town Washington DC just got hit with 24″ of snow. That’s 3.03 millifurlongs for those of you who prefer SI units. Twice I went out for at least an hour each, and frantically lifted and threw aside that glorious white powder with my nearly non-warped shovel. I even started on the alleyway out back that connects my garage to the (still unplowed) street, but called it quits when I decided a beer would be more enjoyable. Later after dinner my wife and I went on a 25 furlong walk to check out the damage to the neighborhood. I am pooped.
